The Future
of Authentication
We use two kinds of Radio Frequency Indentification tags (RFID) tags. Near Field Communication (NFC) tags are highly secure and can be read by modern smartphones, making them perfect for authenticating products. Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) tags can be simultaneously scanned from long range, making them perfect for tracking products through a supply chain.
Powered by NFC + UHF
Lumi offers tags for any use case, from mass-production of essential medicine to limited drops of luxury items.
Tags for Any Use Case
NFC tech is trusted all over the world because it is fast, reliable, and resistant to tampering. Our SIC43NT chips offer unprecedented security, turning consumer phones into the ultimate counterfeit detectors.
Advanced Anti-Counterfeiting
LumiRx embeds NFCs directly into product packaging, preventing counterfeit. Just launch the LRX app and tap your phone on the label.
This gives consumers an essential safeguard, and empowers pharmaceutical suppliers with the tool they need to defend themselves from the hundreds of billions of dollars lost every year from counterfeiting.
Package Level Product Tracing
Our app uses your phone camera to analyze visual data like features, labels, and unique identifiers to detect anomalies. It can see signs of tampering that are indistinguishable to the human eye.
Computer Vision
Lumi tags are scanned at every step in production and distribution. Our algorithms analyze this real-time data to improve efficiency and transparency. This is a significant opportunity if you currently depend on barcodes.
Supply Chain Analytics
To ensure that LumiRx stays at the forefront of healthcare innovation, especially in light of the new compliance requirements set to take effect on November 27, 2023, we are actively working on integrating secure, interoperable, electronic tracing of products at the package level into our authentication and product verification systems.
This will enable us to meet the enhanced drug distribution security requirements outlined in section 582(g)(1) of the FD&C Act, ensuring that our users have access to genuine and safe healthcare products. We are diligently developing the necessary systems and processes to exchange transaction information and product identifiers electronically, as well as verify products at the package level.
Enhanced Drug Distribution Security
Furthermore, our commitment to user safety extends to promptly responding to recall requests and investigations, facilitating the gathering of information, and accepting saleable returns under appropriate conditions.
